What's the point of this website? A Basketball Season.

Long winters in the Rocky Mountains are good for two things: skiing and watching basketball. Basketball guru Travis Samulski, has decided to take a page from his midmajor hero, Kyle Whelliston of the editor of midmajority.com. Kyle quit his job as a software engineer of somesort and began driving across the northeast watching as many mid major basketball games as possible. He started his own website midmajortiy.com. I'm not certain if he is making a living at this yet, and I won't quit my day job, but will attempt to view as many basketball games as possible in person. These games will include all levels - from my favorite professional team the Utah Jazz, to the heart of the game and the junior varsity games I officiates in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Originally, I thought a hundred seemed like a reasonable goal, but upon further reflection I'm not certain I can't see a few more than that. Each game will include a quick synopsis and the relevance of the game.

Additionally, the cite will keep an eye on The Citadel. Why? The Citadel is one of only five programs which have existed since 1948 to not make the NCAA tournament. Can you name the other four? Additionally, the editor's favorite author Pat Conroy is a graduate of The Citadel. Read future posts for: A) Answers to question #1 and B) references to why Mr. Conroy's work is important.
